Just northwest of Decatur across Wheeler Lake on the Tennessee river within Limestone County, lies the largest selection of Waterfront Homes in the area.
The variety of homes available for sale in the area is startling really, as the developments do not get the public attention and advertising they deserve. So we will join in and hopefully contribute to making this area more visible to the public.

Some of the development is also along the Elk River prior to its entrance into the Tennessee and near Elk River State Park. In this area you will find some large newly developed subdivisions with the likes of the Brigadoon, Brigadoon Village, and the Bay Hill Neighborhood.
However what is so neat about this area is that you will also find plenty of Condo and Townhouse options and even isolated Cabins along the Elk River if you are looking for that weekend getaway or vacation home.
What is also cool, is that while there are several Fine Homes available that near the $1,000,000 dollar mark there are also many home options from the mid $100k and up with even some isolated older homes in need of updating that fit nicely into the Weekend Cabin motif.

My husband and I will be moving to the Huntsville area in about 1-1/2 years. We would like to start looking on line at houses. We really hope to be able to buy a home on a lake or river. Our budget will be about $450,00 to 520,00. Would you be able to send us some houses to look at?
